Development Services manages all phases of tenant improvement construction, including space planning, project budgeting, lease work-letter negotiations, construction documents, bid phase, contract negotiations, construction administration, and lease space turn-over. The department is also responsible to ensure compliance with codes related to zoning, parking, occupancy types, occupant loads, life-safety, accessibility, and other ordinances related to the occupancy of commercial and multifamily buildings.
